Lacrosse Drills: Sniper Drill

Set up in your regular offense versus defense.  Put 4 cones out of the play area of different colors.  I generally have 2 at each goal line extended and 2 a bit higher up.  Put players(C) on those cones and when you call a color one player from that cone cuts right across on offense looking for the pass or pick then they go to a cone on the opposite side.  In this case we have a 5v5 in the playing area and I yelled Blue and then C1 (Cutter 1)  player went into motion. 

 

Works with any number on playing area to start, 5v5, 6v6, 7v7.  Make it even tougher by taking a defender out to start.
